The tribe Lamprologini is the major substrate-breeding lineage of Lake Tanganyika’s cichlid species flock. The behaviour to live and breed in empty gastropod shells is very peculiar among those lamprologines. That’s why I’m interested in the phylogeny of shell-breeding species.
