How to reach the workshop location
The workshop will take place at the Zoological Institute, University of Basel (Vesalgasse 1, 4051 Basel, Switzerland). See the detailed description of

location pdf file. Note that the closest airport is the Euroairport Basel/Mulhouse (BSL). The closest train stations are Basel SBB Bahnhof, Badischer Banhof and Bahnhof St. Johann.

Do you need a visa? Switzerland is not part of the European Union, but is associated to it through the Schengen treaty. Unless otherwise stated on the visa sticker, a visa issued by Switzerland is also valid for the other Schengen states and vice versa. More information can be found here.
